Addiction is not the problem; the problem is the problem.
Are you challenged with addiction to people, places or things? Together we can work on identifying what is missing in your life that pushes you to fill that void. You are not alone. I have been there.
Through my integrative approach where I apply existential-humanistic and cognitive modalities, you will be provided the therapeutic space to unpack your challenges without judgment and the skills to help manage ineffective thoughts and emotions. It’s often these thoughts and emotions that can lead to maladaptive behaviour. Dialectical behavioural therapy (DBT) will be applied to provide you with the tools to become more mindful and help support emotional regulation and distress tolerance. Mindfulness practice can help reduce interpersonal conflicts by becoming less reactive and more responsive.
Life is not without pain. What we can control is how much we suffer. Together we can reduce that suffering and build a quality of life of acceptance and change.

Through her own journey of self-discovery, Tsa has learned that we control our actions and reactions in every situation. We have the power to steer our lives in the direction we want - sometimes we just need a
little reminder along the way.
Operating through a solution-focused, client-centred lens, Tsa’s goal is to help those she works with develop the capability to live a more mindful and intentional lifestyle. She strives to empower clients with the skills they need to navigate any barriers that life may create.

If your thoughts can make you sick, they can also make you well.
Do you feel stuck? Overwhelmed? Have you ever wanted to become your most authentic self? In the darkest of times, we may feel wedged between questions like these. Sometimes the answer is right in front of us - or perhaps even within us.
By exploring these existential questions, we create space to learn about our emotions, relationships, interactions, boundaries, resilience, recovery, and accomplishments. Using strength, solution, and mindfulness-based approaches, Francesco’s goal is to help you feel empowered throughout your journey, while integrating your personal goals and strengths into everyday life.
He provides a safe and open space for you to reflect and be heard as you navigate your therapeutic journey. Working with a combination of positive psychotherapy (PPT) and cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), Francesco emphasizes how to live in the moment and lead a meaningful life. Through mindfulness, we have the ability to discover how challenges and setbacks can, in fact, provide us with learning opportunities, and help us to recognize our own true purpose.
You can’t stop the waves, but you can learn to surf. Francesco is prepared to help you ride those waves.
Francesco holds both an (Honours) Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology. He has also received training and observation in both the areas of clinical psychology and psychiatry, providing him with experience in clinical, residential, and overseas settings.
Along with spending his time as a researcher for both the Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies and with the Heroic Hearts Project, he also volunteers in harm reduction sectors with vulnerable communities.

I believe that the most worthwhile challenges we face in life are the ones we encounter within
ourselves.
Whether they are difficulties related to mood, relationships, loss, or a general sense
that something is not right, internal struggles often require us to face our greatest fears. If you
are in the midst of facing your own struggle, I applaud your great courage.
As a counsellor, I endeavour to be your ally and collaborator by first and foremost gaining an
understanding of your unique qualities and the meanings you attach to your experiences. I will
provide you with feedback and help you overcome barriers using tools that may already come
naturally to you. In our sessions, I am just as likely to be interested in the significance of a
recent dream, as I will be in employing a decision-making framework to help you work through a
personal dilemma. My approach depends as much on what resonates with you as it does on my
professional background and experience. Just as our identities are complex and multilayered,
the way forward in therapy may not always be linear, but I am here to help you make sense of
the process. My goal is that you leave our time together with a sense of empowerment and the
knowledge that you do not have to face your struggles alone.
I am immersed in the field of perinatal mental health and enjoy the privilege of working with
perinatal birth parents as they navigate their new realities. Parenthood carries with it a great
potential for magic, yet it can also be a challenging transition. As a parent myself, I have
travelled this journey and have an understanding of its complex challenges and rich rewards.
Using a blend of supportive psychotherapy and concrete coping strategies, I can help you
navigate challenges related to fertility, birth trauma, shifts in identity, relational difficulties,
anxiety, and depression.
Many people seek counselling to address an adverse situation or state of mind, but my hope is
that you will also discover the sense of freedom, joy, and equanimity that can come with greater
self-knowledge and personal growth.
Jennifer holds a Masters of Counselling Psychology from Athabasca University and a Bachelors
of Art in Psychology from the University of British Columbia. She has extensive experience
working to support those struggling with complex mental health and addictions in a community

“The best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago. The second best time is now.” ―Chinese Proverb
I believe the same can be said about taking steps toward achieving your best self. Set aside any feelings of what you wish you could have done in the past and feel good knowing you are taking your first steps today.
I strive to take a holistic approach to my work, because I know there are many things that make you uniquely you, and that no two people are alike. Whatever brought you here today, whether it be feelings of anxiousness, overwhelming sadness, burnout, or any mix of emotions, I am happy you found us.
Before finding myself in this role as a therapist, I worked as an administrator at clinics much like this, spending countless phone calls setting clients up for their first contact with their new therapist. I know that taking these first steps and sending that email or making that first phone call can feel like an impossible task, but I am so happy you’re taking these first steps. I also know that once you hit send or end the call, it feels like a weight has been lifted.
Now, I have the privilege of helping clients not only at their first step, but throughout their journey as well. I would love the opportunity to get to know you better, and to walk with you alongside this journey.
My goal is to provide whoever walks through the door a safe, comfortable, supportive environment. I hope with me you can feel comfortable enough to speak your truth and be your authentic self, knowing that I will listen without judgement.

Do you feel as if you are constantly oscillating between feeling stuck and overwhelmed? I get it. Located in the bustling city of Toronto, I recognize the challenges of navigating the overwhelming pace of modern life. The reality is that we can find ourselves disconnected on many levels: from the rhythms of the natural world, our bodies, our emotional experience, a sense of community, our authentic Self. This is further impacted by trauma and difficult life experiences. It is my belief that this disconnection is at the root of much of our suffering.
As a therapist, I view our sessions as a sacred pause from the demands of life, providing an opportunity to turn inwards and attune to the richness of your inner landscape. My practice is rooted in the belief that within every person exists a wellspring — a source of wisdom, creativity, and innate capacity for healing. This wellspring can become muddled due to painful past experiences and messages received from the larger sociocultural context we exist in. We may have developed parts that have taken on extreme roles in order to protect us. I view my role as a guide in the process of supporting you to develop a curious and compassionate relationship with all parts of yourself — even the undesirable ones — to resolve inner conflicts, cultivate self-acceptance, and reconnect with your authentic Self.
I strive to embody an empathic, grounded presence that creates a safe container for exploration and inquiry. I bring an intuitive, compassionate curiosity, equipped with an air of playfulness. My approach is holistic and integrative, acknowledging the interconnected layers of your being—physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual. As such, my therapeutic approach goes beyond simply talking, but also involves experiential exercises such as, meditation, mindfulness, breath work, embracing the power of the body and senses in the healing process.
I hope to support you in deepening your relationship to yourself and others. I offer a range of tools to support you in building resilience, confidence, and living an authentic, meaningful life in alignment with your values.

“He who has a why to live for can bear almost any how.” -Friedrich Nietzsche.
Life is challenging. People often seek therapy in its most challenging moments. As your therapist, I will not only provide support, but help you derive meaning from these challenges.
My approach is exploratory. While the therapeutic process surfaces difficult emotions and thoughts, they become more manageable with curiosity, compassion, humour, and acceptance. I stand alongside clients as they voyage into the depths of themselves - introspection is easier with a nonjudgmental teammate.
At its core, therapy is human-to-human connection. In fact, research shows that the quality of the therapeutic relationship is the most significant predictor of positive outcomes in therapy. I use the therapeutic relationship to foster vulnerability, openness, empathy, insight, and
ultimately growth.
Therapy is an individualized and varied experience, and as such, my therapy is tailored to you. I draw from several different modalities, including acceptance and commitment therapy, existential-humanistic therapy, psychodynamic therapy, and mindfulness-based interventions. I employ these frameworks to help locate the healing power that already exists within.
Let’s embark on the journey together!
